IoT & Embedded Systems [ABE Semiconductor Designs]

Embedded systems have become an important part of every modern electronic component such as – microwave oven, washing machine, remote control, RFID tags, routers, modems, PDAs, mobile phones etc. Embedded system is a part of large device that perform specific task of the device. For instance – they are used as home automation embedded systems to control lights, sensors, sense climate change, AV systems etc.

Today, IoT is one of the hottest topics of the industry and has taken its place in conventional business Jargon.  As IoT solutions present all industries with business opportunities, it gives tremendous opportunities for embedded system developers too. For an embedded developer, it is all about connecting multiple devices to the internet. However, there is a lot more than just being connected to the internet. IoT for embedded systems is more about collecting and analyzing large amount of data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information to improve the way services and devices are used today.

To produce our students with more programming knowledge inorder to bridge the gap between industrial needs and students performance, we have established our CoE with most recent equipment’s and controllers. This will brings our students with most innovative ideas which ensures the sustainability and growth of our students in an industry.

     >> Sensors(Temperature, Smoke, LM35 & Touch resistive sensors, Ultrasonic etc.,)
     >> RF ID readers, Tags, LCD’s  & ULINK Debuggers

 

Objectives

To elicit our students imagination beyond the circle in order to find many solutions for real time applications using embedded systems & IoT. To conduct hands on training, workshops, seminars for students interms of development of new research ideas, project, product and patent developments.

 Research and Training Activities

  • Students can have hands on trainings on ARM controller, ARDUINO and Raspberry  Pi controllers etc,
  • Real time projects can be developed for our own college by our students alone
  • To make innovative mini projects and main projects in embedded systems
  • To facilitate students Programming, dumbing and debugging knowledge in embedded and IoT
  • Discussing the experimental investigation for all kind of real time problems
  • Creating new  projects which atomizes all our day to day works
  • Solving industrial oriented problems in hands with ABE semiconductor design
